Unlikely Leadership
There are many elements that define good leadership; paramount among them is character. If we’re going to engage in the process of building leaders, we need to start with a strong foundation and establish the importance of character. A leader’s inherent character greatly impacts the defining characteristics of all aspects of his or her leadership. The comparison of the leadership of Saul versus David is illustrative in that it reveals the bad characteristics of the one king compared to the good characteristics of the other king.
