Giving Is an
Act of Faith

Everything we have belongs ultimately to God. Christian generosity is not merely a financial decision; it is a worship response to God’s grace and love for us.

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – Acts 20:35

“Do good and share what you have.” – Hebrews 13:16

A legacy gift allows your stewardship to extend beyond your lifetime.

What Is a
Legacy Fund?

New Vision Baptist Church has established a Legacy Fund to receive planned and estate gifts that strengthen the church’s ministry for the future.

The church will treat the Legacy Fund as an endowment fund. It is a separate account that is held in long-term investments through the Tennessee Baptist Foundation. The intention of this fund is to grow its size over time and spend only the growth in interest, dividends, and market appreciation via a plan established by the Church Leadership Council, which will have sole discretion to direct earnings as it determines best for the ministry.

Including New Vision in your estate plan does not require you to make a gift today. Instead, you can designate a portion of your assets that remain after your lifetime needs and commitments to loved ones have been met.

Why Leave a Gift
To Your Church?

A planned gift can:

  • Reflect gratitude for God’s provision throughout your life.
  • Continue the ministry and values that have shaped you and your family.
  • Help future members encounter Christ, grow in faith, and serve others.
  • Provide enduring support beyond regular weekly or annual giving.
  • Create a lasting witness of generosity for children, grandchildren, and fellow believers.
  • Allow you to care for loved ones while also supporting the mission of New Vision.
  • Provide lasting support for overseas missions, domestic church planting, community outreach, long-term sustainability of the ministry for generations to come.
