New Orleans, LA | High School Mission Trip
GenSend has partnered with MissionLab to offer a mission experience for the collegiate. MissionLab has been serving in the city since 2000 and they are passionate about seeing lives changed through short-term mission trips. GenSend has come alongside MissionLab in conjunction with the Send Network church planting efforts and several well-established ministries serving NOLA daily to create a mission experience that allows students to see what it is like to “do ministry” in the different neighborhoods of New Orleans.
Ministry projects include working to help the homeless population of New Orleans by doing an “under the bridge” ministry which serves those who live in makeshift shelters or tents under some of the many bridges. Community beautification projects and various outreach evangelism as directed by church planters trying to reach those in their neighborhoods are also ways that students will serve the city of New Orleans.
