Passage: Matthew 7:13-27
The most important decision we will ever make is whether or not to choose eternal life in Christ. Merely claiming to be a follower of Jesus, possessing an outward appearance of commitment to Him, is not an indication that our relationship with Him is real.
Those who choose the easy path (seeking the approval of man rather than God) will find that it only leads to destruction. Jesus said the way to eternal life is “narrow” in that it is through Him alone. Christian discipleship is genuine when it arises from a heart and mind transformed by God’s grace through repentance.
