Passage: Daniel 4:4-33
When King Nebuchadnezzar received a puzzling dream, he turned to Daniel for help. Daniel knew the dream’s meaning was bad news for the king, and he had a difficult choice to make: he could either tell the king the truth and leave the consequences to God, or he could hide the truth in order to save his own neck. Daniel chose to be faithful, and the Lord rewarded his faithfulness. As our culture grows more and more hostile to God’s truth, we all will be faced with the decision to either stand up and faithfully share the message God has entrusted to us, or remain silent and fail in our role as Christ’s ambassadors serving in a foreign kingdom.
