Passage: 1 Thessalonians 2:1-16
Because Paul knew the end, he gave of himself so that others could know the hope of Christ. He spoke the message of the gospel, and he lived it out in ministry. His loving actions authenticated the truth of his message. Paul is an example to us who also know how the script ends. We know there is hope for those whose faith is in Christ, but judgment for those who are outside of Christ. Like Paul, we must show the gospel with our works just as we share the gospel with our words.
