Passage: 1 Thessalonians 4:1-12
How we live matters as we await the Lord’s return. Paul stressed to the Thessalonians two ways to please God during this time of waiting: increasing in love for one another and attention to personal holiness, especially in the area of sexual purity. We should take these matters to heart so that we, too, can live in a way that pleases God and represents Him well to a watching world.
