Our friends at Dow Smith continue to make great progress on the small groups building. At the same time, our Adult Ministry team has been hard at work recruiting group leaders for the 60 brand new groups that will be available on Sunday mornings. We are excited about the chance to get parents of young children an opportunity to spend time in biblical community with one another, and we truly believe that will have a huge spiritual impact not just on the parents, but on their children as well. We pray this space will have impact on generations now and to come.

In terms of the construction progress, the brick work is done, stonework on the tower is approaching completion, and the paneling of the second story exterior will begin soon. The concrete pads for the first-floor patios have been poured, and perimeter sidewalks are soon to follow. Many of the windows and doors have been installed, and the remaining ones will happen within the next couple of weeks.

On the inside, the drywall is mostly complete, and some painting has begun. The ceiling grid install is underway; the interior is really taking shape.

With the help of the Dow Smith team, several of the staff were able to walk through the building safely this month. That has generated ever more creative thought about how to use this new space to engage people with the Gospel.
