God, through the sacrifice of His Son, offers salvation and life to anyone who believes in Him. Salvation is a gift of grace not by works. Christians are people who believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs only when a person places their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for their sin.
For by grace I am saved through faith.
Letting go of my self-directed life to Christ's life.
Changing my mind and life direction.
Confessing Christ as my Savior and Lord.
God has provided a simple way for you to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:13 tells us that, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." It's really that simple to receive the free gift of salvation.
ADMIT that you are a sinner. Sin separates us from God.
"Everyone has sinned. No one measures up to God's glory." Romans 3:23
BELIEVE that Jesus died and rose again for your sins. Jesus came to earth to pay the wages of our sin. He literally died in our place so we could have eternal life with Him.
"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
CONFESS Him as Lord of your life. Accept the gift the Creator has offered you!
"God's grace has saved you because of your faith in Christ. Your salvation doesn't come from anything you do. It is God's gift. It is not based on anything you have done. No one can brag about earning it." Ephesians 2:8-9
If you believe all this to be true, then tell Jesus! Talk to Him from your heart and if you don’t know where to begin, earnestly pray this prayer:
Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and do not deserve this life you've given me. I believe You died and rose from the grave to make a place for me in Heaven. Forgive me for my sins, and save me from the life I have known. Come into my heart, and be my Lord and Savior. Amen.
