Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have sought the most up-to-date information from the local and state governments, as well as best practices from other churches, to determine the best way to return to in-person worship safely and responsibly. Given the current circumstances, we’re excited that we’re able to safely remove some of the things that we have had in place since last summer.

  • Masks are optional for everyone at Battlefield and Buchanan, including staff, children, students, and volunteers.

  • If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, we still encourage you to do so! Staff will have masks with them at all times and are more than happy to wear them if you are more comfortable engaging in conversation that way.

  • For those who are still at risk and/or have concerns, the balcony is still a mask required area for our 6:15 PM Thursday service at our Battlefield campus. Social distancing guidelines will still be in place in the balcony for that service.

  • If you have kids, you will no longer need to preregister your preschooler or your child for Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday service.

These changes impact our Summer events in an exciting way. Most notably, masks will NOT be required at VBS or NV Camp!

As we have from the beginning, we will continue to carefully monitor the COVID-19 rates in the county in order to provide a safe and comfortable worship experience.
