Serve Jesus by Serving Others

God calls us to serve Him by serving one another. In fact, we were created for the express purpose of serving and we are all uniquely created and shaped by God for that purpose. Part of belonging to a church family is learning to joyfully serve one another by helping each other grow in faith, supporting each other in our daily lives and meeting each others needs. We also serve through various church & outreach ministries, and helping those who don’t know Christ.

For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.
~ Ephesians 2:10 (HCSB)

Understanding our S.H.A.P.E. helps us find a place of service that allows us to best use those God-given gifts. We are shaped by our…Spiritual Giftedness, Heart or Passion, Abilities, Personality Type and Experience

 

PRACTICAL APPLICATION

There are a couple of ways we can help you determine the areas of service best suited for you.

2. Take our online Spiritual Gifts Analysis, and then complete the online SHAPE EXPRESS form.

2. Attend our 2-session S.H.A.P.E. Class. This in-depth, hands-on class is led by a New Vision staff member.

Either of these options will help you understand how God hard-wired you to serve in His Kingdom by discovering more about your spiritual gifts, your passion for various people groups, your unique personality and your life experiences. Regardless which option you choose, someone will call you to discuss various ministry opportunities that align with your personal S.H.A.P.E.
