Camp for students is still happening, but it looks different this year! NV Camp 2020 is a local camp held August 2nd-5th at the New Vision Battlefield campus, 1750 N. Thompson Lane, for students who have completed grades 6th-12th. Camp will consist of four days of worship, challenging messages, competitions, baptisms, fun times with friends and changed lives! 

The evenings will be split into two sections, service from 6:00-7:30 PM and after activities from 7:30-9:00 PM. Our camp speaker this year is Kelly Knouse, and he will be joined by the NV worship band. This is a free event, and registration is not required. Additionally, all services will be live streamed to Facebook and YouTube. 

August 5th will be the end of camp and the kickoff of our new ministry year with services at both our Battlefield and Buchanan campuses. Middle School service will be from 6:00-7:10 PM and High School from 7:15-8:30 PM at both campuses. Students will attend service based on grade for 2020-2021 school year.

What is NV Camp?

On the night of August 5th, we will kickoff our new ministry year with services at both our Battlefield and Buchanan campuses. What are the camp dates/times?

Do I have to stay for the after activities?

No. We intentionally split the service and activities so students can choose to be picked up or drive home after the service.

Who is the speaker and band?

Our speaker is Kelly Knouse, a pastor at Idlewild Church outside of Tampa, FL. Kelly has an incredible passion for students and has spoken at Student Camps all over the nation. Our worship will be led by our NV Student Band.

 
Will there be a livestream option?

Yes! There is a livestream option available on the New Vision Students Facebook and YouTube page.

 
Is registration required?

No registration is required for this event. Students are encouraged to come to as many nights as they are able. Students are also encouraged to invite/bring friends.
 
 
Will you be social distancing at camp?

Students will be seated and asked to maintain a six feet distance from other students and volunteers with whom they did not come. Social distancing will be in place during services and all activities.
 
 
Do I need to bring a mask?

In effort to be in line with our public school system, we are requiring masks. You can either bring a mask with you or pick one up on your way into the Worship Center.
 
 
Where do I drop off and pick up my student?

Middle School pick up and drop off is in the chapel parking lot. High School pick up and drop off is in the preschool/Worship Center parking lots.
 
We want to ensure our student's safety and health during this time, and we will cooperate with the CDC guidelines. In effort to comply with social distancing guidelines, students may not be dropped off at church prior to 5:45 PM and must be picked up by 9:15 PM.
